Gabriel

Gabriel is Troy’s brother. I can see that Jamie Foxx is the best role for Gabriel. Gabriel was wounded in World War II and now has a metal and his head. Gabriel committed to a mental hospital. Jamie Foxx is also African American like Gabriel. Jamie Foxx can portray any roles he is one of the best actor in America. I really love his acting you can feel his emotion every time he acts.  I think he can be Gabriel, the way Gabriel acts to people.



Rose

I think for Rose role Nia Long is the best.  Rose is the wife of Troy’s. She is African American and she is forty three years old.  Nia is also African American and almost the same age of Rose. This is the perfect role for Nia to be Rose.  When it comes to Rose children, she has high hope for his children’s especially to his son Cory. Nia also has two childrens, so she can really relate to Rose.

Lyons

I think Neyo is the right role for Lyons. Lyrons is the oldest son by Troy to previous marriage. Lyons is into jazz music, infact he is a jazz musician and ambitious. Lyrons grew up without his father.  Neyo is also grown up without his father. I think they can really relate to each other.  Neyo is one of my favorite singer, one of his interview he talks about how he likes jazz music. So, Neyo can relate to Lyons music.  He can be Lyrons and I believe Neyo can potray Lyons really well. Neyo is African American too like Lyrons.



Cory

I think Trey Smith is the best to portray Cory Maxson.  Trey is the son of Will Smith who happens to be my one of my favorite actor.  Cory is the son of Troy and Rose. Cory is a good son and respectful to his parents.  Cory is into football and he really loves football.  While Trey is football player too in his school, so he is the best to role for Cory.

Raynell

Raynell in “Fences” is the daughter of Troy’s. I choose Jadagrace to be Raynell. Jadagrace innocent looks and beauty is the perfect role of Raynell because she’s like that. I like Jadagrace because she’s so cute and a good child actress at her young age. In the plays, Raynell characters didn’t talk about that much. She basically likes to plants and want to grow her plants really fast.

            

Jim Bono

 I think Denzel Washington is fit to the role of Bono. He is one of my favorite actors. I can feel his acting in every movie he portrayed. According to the play Bono is devoted friend and husband. Denzel too, he is loyal to his wife and a good husband. In the play Bono is the best friends of Troy over thirty years. I could tell Denzel plays as a Bono very well. Bono said in the play to Troy, "Some people build fences to keep people out and other people build fences to keep people in. Rose wants to hold on to you all. She loves you." This you can tell how Bono concerned about his friend Troy when it comes to family matter.

Troy Maxson

     

I think Morgan Freeman is the best role for Troy Maxson. He is very good actor in any genre of a movie he portrays.  I could see him play this character really well.  According to the plays Troy is fifty-three years old. Troy is the family breadwinner.  He is also African American like Freeman. In the play Troy said to youngest son Cory, "You go on and get your book-learning so you can work yourself up in that A&P or learn how to fix cars or build houses or something, get you a trade. That way you have something can't nobody take away from you. He seems to be a good father, that he wants his son to be educated and learned something for his future.
